Our proven social worker, police, hospital, and school teacher referral system vets urgent needs to give care to the most needy in the DMV area.
We respond to both small and large scale transformative and urgent needs.
Small Scale
We provide the quick transformative needs that are vetted by local frontline workers in the DMV area. These are typically urgent needs less than $200 and can be anything from a night in a hotel room for a family to escape domestic violence to colostomy bags for special needs children.
Large Scale
Once a month and on holidays (around 15 families per year), we provide larger scale transformative necessities to bless families in crisis. In the past, we have been honored to provide a Disney trip to a 9 year old shooting survivor, purchase a much needed reliable car for a struggling family to commute to work, and cover funeral costs for a lost child.
Our Process
Boost Others then springs into action. We gather goods to meet needs, or use donations to buy what is needed. Our goal is to meet needs within 24 hours.
